National Football League Matchup: Vikings Take On Browns at Tottenham in Week Five Action

Important Player Josh Metellus Shares Thoughts on Unique London Game Atmosphere

Football Action at the Stadium

Drafted in 2020, Josh Metellus is set to play his 4th global game, despite the Vikings lost in Ireland last week. Earlier, they triumphed in each of their prior games to Tottenham. The athlete emphasized, "We've got to continue that winning tradition," mentioning his excitement for a further London game.

"Ordinarily, when you play, the spectators wear matching team shirts, but while heading to the venue at Tottenham, I noticed approximately thirty-two assorted kits—I seen every team," said the 27-year-old safety.

"I thought 'oh my, I assumed it was a Vikings game.' But that was really cool to see, people just enjoy NFL. I noticed a group of different people of all shapes and sizes, who enjoyed the contest and the events leading up to it. You don't necessarily have to be a fan of one club, you know. It's just watching the game and developing a passion."

Regarding if that made for a special environment: "Definitely. The fans out in London do a great job of creating excitement. Whatever squad shows the highest effort can gain an advantage and rally the spectators, so yeah, it certainly makes a unique experience. It's almost like a collegiate championship. It's a neutral site where it could go either way, based on shifts in play and similar factors."

"I really like the venue," he stated. "It seems like a perfect place to play abroad. The changing facility's excellent, the atmosphere when you step in, it feels like the spotlight's all on you. I'm a huge admirer of competing at arenas that have a great vibe, particularly those that we succeed in!"
